IRP Annual Meeting is Now Open for Registration

Please join us in St. Louis, Missouri for this year’s Annual Meeting! The meeting will be held May 11-14, 2010 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark. The Missouri DOT Staff is looking forward to welcoming you to their state and ensuring an exceptional meeting experience.

The IRP Annual Meeting, along with being the annual business meeting of the IRP Membership, also provides valuable networking opportunities essential to the success of the Plan. Once again this year, the IRP, Inc. Board of Directors has approved funding for one representative from each jurisdiction to attend. This will be your best opportunity in 2010 to learn the latest developments, share best practices, and discuss and explore solutions to the issues important to you with your colleagues from across North America. The Government of Ontario has passed legislation to combine Ontario’s Retail Sales Tax with the federal Goods and Services Tax to create a federally administered Harmonized Sales Tax, effective July 1 2010. As a result of this change, IRP member jurisdictions will no longer be required to charge the Annual Prorated Sales Tax. An updated fee schedule is attached to reflect these changes after July 1 2010, so please see the memo and the fee schedules for all details.
