Board of Directors

The IRP Board of Directors consists of 12 voting members. Members have a fiduciary, legal and ethical responsibility to act in a way which ensures that IRP operates in the best interests of the membership. The authority to handle substantive matters pertaining to the administration of the Plan and the compliance of member jurisdictions with the terms of the Plan is vested in the Board.

Nominations for Region II

The IRP Board of Directors has an immediate opening for a Region II representative, due to a mid-term resignation. Nominations for this position are due by May 23.

The term starts in July 2017, after an election ballot, and ends in December 2017. There will be a separate nomination and election process for the subsequent region II term, which is a three year term starting January 2018. This separate election will be announced separately.

To nominate a colleague, please submit a nomination and short bio for the nominee via the online form.

Serving on the IRP Board of Directors provides an invaluable opportunity to positively affect change in the IRP community, gain firsthand knowledge of the latest IRP developments, strengthen your professional partnerships and enhance your professional image.

Board members must attend in-person board meetings. The remaining 2017 board meeting is October 3 – 4, 2017, in Victoria, British Columbia. Expenses for this travel are covered by IRP, Inc.
