A: Each jurisdiction sets their own fee and time frame. It can range from $7 to $70. Most of the information regarding the cost of a trip permit for specific jurisdiction, is located on the IRP website at Trip Permits.
Q: Where is there information concerning the audit program?
A: IRP supplies some, but not all information for the audit program at the following link, Audit Program. The Audit Program provides a medium within the IRP to review recommended audit procedures on a periodic basis for compliance with the Plan and Audit Procedures Manual.
Q: What are the IRP committees, what are they working on, and where can I find out who is on each committee?
A: The IRP committees consist of the Audit, Dispute Resolution, Clearinghouse, Industry Advisory Committee, Plan Procedures and Peer Review committees as well as several Ad Hoc committees. The information about these groups can be found at IRP Committees. All of the committees are comprised of volunteers from both the IRP jurisdictions and the motor carrier industry, which are appointed by the chair of IRP, Inc.
Q: Where would I find information about the jurisdictions' fee schedules?
A: Fee schedules for the IRP jurisdictions are available to all IRP members and IRP subscribers. It is the responsibility of each individual jurisdiction to provide IRP, Inc. with fee schedules and/or changes in a standard format for distribution to other jurisdictions. IRP, Inc. assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of these documents, only the distribution of the fee schedules in a timely manner. If you are a subscriber or member, you can locate the fee schedules at Table of Fee Schedules. Even if you are not a member or subscriber, you can purchase the fee schedules separately from this same location.
