Full Reciprocity Task Force Update
Next week IRP, Inc. will be distributing a comprehensive document on the Full Reciprocity Plan being worked on by the Full Reciprocity Task Force. This document will provide a thorough explanation of the proposal, the history, the benefits and some analysis of the impact to both the jurisdictions and industry. Watch for the document, which will be emailed to the IRP membership and posted on the IRP website.
Full Reciprocity Webinar Scheduled
The first of a series of webinars to provide information about the full reciprocity concept and provide the opportunity for discussion will be presented on Monday September 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm EDT time. Watch for details and the webinar invitation coming out soon.
Compliance Audit Working Group Survey
The Compliance Audit Working Group (CAWG) recently sent out a survey to the IRP voting members to gather additional input on the work the group is doing to improve and enhance the IRP audit program. The original due date for the survey was August 13, 2010, but it is not too late to submit your feedback. It is important to have input from all jurisdictions. Please contact Tim Adams at tadams@irpinc.org or phone at (502) 845-0398) to get access to the survey tool if your jurisdiction has not completed the survey.
Steve Keppler Named Executive Director of CVSA
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) recently announced Stephen A. Keppler as its new Executive Director. Steve has a long history and a wealth of experience in the transportation industry, most of which has been dedicated to truck and bus safety and security. IRP, Inc. congratulates Steve on this appointment and looks forward to working closely with CVSA, its staff and membership in the future.
IFTA – IRP Audit Workshop
February 7 – 12, 2011
Mark your calendars to attend the annual IFTA – IRP Audit Workshop February 7 – 12, 2011. The 2011 Workshop will be held in Orlando, Florida at the Wyndham Orlando. A great agenda is being developed to provide a variety of educational and informative sessions. Watch the IRP and IFTA websites for information on the agenda and registration for the workshop.
Modernized Clearinghouse Webinar
The first webinar on the IRP modernized Clearinghouse was a success. 85 attendees attended to learn how to use the new version most effectively.
