Board of Directors Meeting Recap
The IRP, Inc. Board of Directors met May 5-6, 2008 in Arlington, VA. A detailed report will be published in the next edition of IRP Newsline. In addition, minutes of the meeting will be posted to the IRP, Inc. Web site as soon as they are available.
Quebec to Become the 51st IRP Clearinghouse Member!
Please extend a warm welcome to Quebec, as it becomes the seventh Canadian province to join the IRP Clearinghouse on June 15, 2008.
IRP 101 Webinar – Have you registered?
We urge you not to miss the IRP 101 Webinar on May 15 from 3-4 pm EDT by clicking here to register today. There is no limit to the number of connections that you wish to reserve. Survey Update

SC Acceptance of Personal Business Checks for Apportioned Tag Payments Survey
SC posed the following questions to fellow jurisdictions:
- Does your state require that a motor carrier present a secured method of payment (cashier's check, credit card, etc.) for IFTA/IRP payments or do you accept any method of payment?
- If you require a secure method of payment, is it required for all transactions or only for transactions over a certain dollar amount?
- If only over a certain dollar amount, what is the threshold?

CDEA Task Force
The Credentials Data and Enforcement Access (CDEA) Task Force met via conference call on April 17, 2008. The Task Force set objectives and developed a plan for identifying the most efficient and effective way to get credentials data to law enforcement. The Task Force will be adding additional representatives to the group including representatives from NLETS, FMCSA, PRISM and CVSA. One of the tasks will be to gather information on jurisdictions current practices with respect to credentials data access – stay tuned for details on a questionnaire about this within the next week or so. PRISM
FMCSA hosted the National PRISM conference call on May 7, 2008 to discuss recent and proposed changes to the PRISM program. Minutes from the conference call will be available in the coming weeks. Documents from the meeting are posted on the AAMVA Web site under the MCS Discipline Section and sent out via the IRP Community Yahoo! Groups.
Unified Carrier Registration (UCR)
The UCR Board of Directors held a conference call on May 8, 2008 to continue to work on implementing the UCR program. Jurisdictions have sent out the 2008 notices to carriers and the registration process is underway. Please visit the AAMVA Web site’s MCS Discipline Section for recent updates and information on UCR.
