Federal government agencies frequently post grants to provide financial support for all types of jurisdiction initiatives. There are many grant opportunities for motor vehicle related programs provided through the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and others. While many of the grants are for specific programs, some are open for jurisdiction to develop innovative initiatives not specifically defined in the funding opportunity.
