State law prohibits refund of any vehicle registration fees or portion of registration fees. Exceptions can be made if the vehicle(s) is removed from the fleet and credentials returned prior to the start of the registration period; duplicate payment of fees is refunded. All requests for refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If credentials are returned unused after the start of the registration period, no refund can be made.
Note: Refunds that are the result of an IRP audit and done through the audit netting process are an exception. |
