RFP Questions:
Question: [company] will not be bidding on option 1 or option 2. Should I still submit the attachment 2 & 3 with our corporate information and labor rates…
Answer: See section 14.0, Proposal Instructions. Submitting a proposal for Procurement 1 and 2 is optional. To be eligible to compete on future procurements, offeror must submit a proposal in accordance with section 14.0 instructions. Once the contracts are awarded, IRP, Inc. anticipates that all future IT and data services requirements within the period of performance specified in section 2.0, will be competed and awarded using this contract.
Question: Please confirm our understanding:
- In the RFP it is mentioned that some servers are owned by IRP and other are owned by AAMVA. We understand that for the servers owned by IRP, we don’t need to purchase, thus we don’t need to price them as a part of proposal.
- The servers owned by AAMVA need to be replaced/acquired, so we need to price them in our proposal.
Answer: All equipment owned by IRP, Inc. will be turned over to contractor for use in the offeror’s solution and therefore do not have to be priced in the proposal if used in the offeror’s solution. Equipment that is marked as owned by AAMVA will need to be replaced and therefore priced in the proposal if the offeror’s solution requires the equipment.
