IRP committees are the backbone of the organization.
There are seven standing committees:
Audit, Clearinghouse, Dispute Resolution, Industry Advisory, Peer Review, Plan Procedures and Education, and International Committees
These committees provide a forum:
- to resolve issues within the IRP community
- to make decisions and interpretations of the Agreement
- ensure that the jurisdictions remain in compliance with the Plan
In addition, there are ad hoc or special committees that address specific IRP concerns. These committees are usually established for a 12-month period and focus on the pressing issues of the day.
All of the committees are comprised of volunteers from both the jurisdictions and industry, which are appointed by the chair of IRP, Inc. For additional information on a committee or if you are interested in serving on one of the committees contact the repository.
