The committee shall provide a medium within IRP, Inc. for establishing uniform audit procedures for all jurisdictions.

2011 Goals

Goal # 1 Improve coordination/uniformity of the IRP audits with IFTA to reduce administrative costs and burdens on carriers.

Continue series of joint webinars with IFTA. Two are planned currently with the prospect of at least one more in 2011.
Explore interest with IFTA to work on uniformity and consistency of audit programs based on outcome of CAWG.

Goal # 2 Improve jurisdiction audit compliance/uniformity with the IRP Plan to improve audit quality and fairness with the industry.

Explore training opportunities specific to IRP auditing for jurisdictional and industry members. Work jointly with other relative IRP committees on possible certificate program.
Develop an operational plan for working more closely with other IRP committees on specific issues and topics that will improve overall Plan compliance and efficiency.
Develop plan for outreach and education on outcome of CAWG efforts working closely with PRC and any other relative committees.
