Education Committee

The Education Committee (formerly the Plan Procedures and Education Committee) develops training tools and programs to educate IRP Member Jurisdictions; provides educational content for IRP meetings and/or workshops; monitors and review ballots and provide comments to ballot sponsor(s); and completes other responsibilities as assigned by the IRP, Inc. Board of Directors.

2011 Goals

1) Development of Training Certification

  • PPEC intends to continue to grow the Training Certification program, including a focus on developing new webinars (Level 2) and increased exposure of the program within the IRP community.
  • Level 1's four core webinars to be delivered twice in 2011.
  •  Webinars recorded with IRP community able to view recorded webinars as credit towards level 1 training certificate.

2) Webinar Development and Delivery

  • The PPEC plans to continue developing, delivering and reviewing webinars outside of the Training Certificate Program.
  • A webinar on DRC is being developed and will be presented in February 2011.
  • A webinar on Peer Review will be developed in Spring 2011.
  • Other webinars to be presented with the PPEC providing support for the Compliance Audit Working Group, Clearinghouse modernization, and the International Committee.
  • Webinars will be recorded and made available through IRPInc.org

3) Ballot Review

  • ProcessFinal version of the ballot review process and comment template will be completed and made available to the IRP community in advance of the May Annual Meeting.
