In response to the continuing effects of flooding along the Mississippi River in the State of Missouri (MO), the MO Department of Transportation has issued an Emergency Declaration Notice to waive certain state and federal regulations for motor carriers who participate in MO emergency relief efforts. Due to the conversion to a new operating system, the California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles will suspend the keying of International Registration Plan (IRP) applications as of 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday, June 30, 2008 through Friday, July 12, 2008, when the new operating system will become operational. As per Ballot 333, the revised International Registration Plan is effective starting tomorrow, July 1, 2008. Please click here to view the Plan and the accompanying Audit Procedures Manual (APM), which also went through revisions in Ballot 333.

To assist jurisdictions in implementing the Plan Rewrite, IRP, Inc. has created several documents that outline the top 16 Plan changes, which are also posted to the "Plan" section of the IRP, Inc. Web site under the "Publications" tab. These include a Fact Sheet, Quick Reference Guide, New Application Checklist, and New Registration Checklist.
