Please be advised that Colorado's Governor just signed new legislation pertaining to rental vehicles. Any registrant who declares their IRP fleet as a rental fleet must pay specific ownership taxes to the Colorado countries from which they rent their vehicles. Due to this change, these types of RENTAL FLEETS will no longer pay specific ownership taxes for Colorado via IRP. To declare themselves as a RENTAL FLEET, the carrier's rental agreements must be for less than 45 days.
