California Delay of Enforcement Reminder 26-Feb-2007

On December 15, 2006, the California Department of Motor Vehicles requested each jurisdiction to delay enforcement of California IRP through February 28, 2007, for any vehicle that has valid 2006 California IRP plates and cab card or Temporary Operating Authority (REG 3100 or REG 2126 IRP) that expires on December 31, 2006. Temporary Operating Authority that expires before December 31, 2006, is not included in this delay of enforcement.
The department is currently issuing Temporary Operating Authorities for all vehicles that have not received their 2007 permanent credentials. Please accept facsimile copies of these temporaries. This information should be disseminated to all interested persons or agencies within your jurisdiction.
