AAMVA and IRP, Inc.’s IT group performed some work over the weekend to direct Internet traffic to a new high speed Internet line as part of an effort to improve both organizations’ business continuity capabilities.
We discovered that some AAMVA and IRP, Inc. members have very stringent SPAM filtering policies that interpret the new e-mail server as a source of SPAM. This filtering resulted in some e-mail messages being blocked. The end result is an interruption of e-mail communications with these members.
To address this issue, the IT team will move e-mail services back to the former Internet line. E-mail services should return to normal after this is complete.
This work will occur tonight starting at 6 pm EDT. Please note that e-mail will be delayed for a few hours during this maintenance period.
Thank you for your patience with this unforeseen issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will be resending the notification regarding the CA fee schedule change to all IRP, Inc. Members on Friday, April 11. Members who have not been affected by the Internet line change may disregard the duplicate message.
