At the Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) Meeting in Louisville, KY in September 2007, the DRC passed several motions regarding a dispute filed by California against Utah. The motions included a requirement that the reexamination of the audit in dispute be concluded by Jan. 31, 2008. In mid-January, Utah requested an extension of the reexamination deadline, which was granted by the DRC Chair. As a result, the DRC Chair has requested that California and Utah appear before the DRC on Saturday, March 29, 2008, to present the resolution of this dispute.
The California/Utah dispute is the only item on the agenda of the March 29, 2008 DRC Meeting, which is scheduled from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. This is an open DRC Meeting, and no separate registration is required to attend.
