Ruth Skluzacek, IRP, Inc. Chair of the Board of Directors, announced she will retire on March 31, 2008. Ruth has a long history of contributions to the motor carrier community. Among her many accomplishments, she has served as:

Director of the Iowa Office of Motor Carrier Services since 1979

Responsible for Iowa's one-stop shop-including the IRP, IFTA, UCR, Intrastate Authority and Oversize/overweight permitting programs

Chair and Member of the Dispute Resolution Committee

Member of the IRP Plan Rewrite Committee

Member of the UCR Board

Motor Carrier Representative on AAMVA's Enforcement Committee

Past Member of the Base State Working Group established to assist jurisdictions in the implementation of both IRP and IFTA
- Recognized by FMCSA for her leadership in the development of the CVISN/PRISM program
