The California Department of Motor Vehicles has experienced delays in the processing of 2009 IRP renewal applications. As a result California is requesting all jurisdictions delay enforcement of California IRP through March 31, 2009, for any vehicle that has valid 2008 California IRP plates and cab card or temporary operating authority (REG 3100 or REG 2126 IRP) that expires on December 31, 2008.
Temporary operating authority that expires before December 31, 2008, is not included in this delay of enforcement.
