Washington is providing notice that their VSIF has increased from $10.00 to $16.00. The fee is apportioned for those vehicles operating interstate and registered under IRP. There registration fees for WA have not changed. (see calculation examples)
Pursuant to section 1205(b) of the Plan, jurisdictions have 120 calendar days from notification to implement the fee change. WA would ask that this fee be changed as soon as possible; the fee was actually effective in 2007.
