To IRP Region I Administrators:
IRP is looking for an auditor from Region I to fill a vacancy on the Audit Committee. The position is open immediately and the term ends February 28, 2012.
We need your help locating a qualified replacement. A summary of committee responsibilities is below; the full committee charter is on the IRP Website.
The IRP, Inc. Board of Directors (Board) delegates, under the authority of Section 1305, to Audit Committee the responsibility and authority to:
1. review recommended audit standards and procedures for compliance with the International Registration Plan (Plan), Audit Procedures Manual (APM), and Audit Training Manual (ATM);
2. propose audit related ballots;
3. review ballots affecting the IRP audit program;
4. assist jurisdictions with audit matters;
5. advise IRP, Inc. committees and the board on audit-related issues; and
6. develop the agenda and related materials for the annual IFTA/IRP Audit Workshop.
To qualify for a position on the Audit Committee, an individual must have experience as an IRP auditor in a member jurisdiction and should have the jurisdictional support and authority to travel to the annual IFTA/IRP Audit Workshop and Committee Meeting.
