Ballot 363 ST – Board Advisory Panel, is open for voting and all voting members are encouraged to vote online by midnight EDT June 23, 2010.
If approved, this change will give the Chair of the IRP Board of Directors more latitude in appointing representatives to the Board Advisory Panel. For example, current Plan language limits members of the Board Advisory Panel to three industry members and one representative from each of the federal governments of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
If passed, the ballot open for voting will allow the Chair to appoint an individual from CCMTA and/or other related organizations to the Panel as deemed appropriate.
The ballot requires an affirmative vote of ¾ of jurisdiction votes cast to pass. If passed, the change will be effective January 1, 2011.
