Registrant and Inactive Carrier Registration Webinar Sessions Scheduled for Sept. 6 and 12
Monday, August 20, 2012
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is eliminating the Registrant designation and switching all current companies with a Registrant USDOT number to an Inactive USDOT number. This is occurring in the months of September and October, and letters will be going out to more than 250,000 current Registrants.
The letters from the FMCSA New Entrant Contact Center will include a telephone number for companies to call with questions. Those that will receive telephone calls from the regulated industry—staff members at the New Entrant Contact Center and staff members of the Customer Service call center, FMCSA Division offices, and staff working in State offices where commercial motor vehicles are registered—will learn information from this webinar on how to respond to questions.
The National Training Center (NTC) is pleased to announce the following webinar to provide details on this change, as well as answer FMCSA staff questions on the topic.
Webinar: Registrant and Inactive Carrier Registration
Target Audience: Employees at New Entrant Call Centers, Local Division Offices and State IRP Offices
