Education Committee Funded Travel
: The IRP Board supports volunteerism by funding meeting travel expenses for Board members and committee members. Fortunately, in 2015, IRP, Inc. is able to fund travel for jurisdiction members of the Education Committee to attend the IFTA/IRP Managers’ and Law Enforcement Workshop.
: Funding includes airfare, lodging, related travel expenses including meals, and complimentary meeting registration.
Committee members are expected to attend all sessions and the entire Education Committee meeting.
How will I arrange for my travel?
Funded jurisdiction attendees will receive communications from IRP, Inc. sequentially via email regarding the following steps:
Step 1: Authorization to Travel
As a funded attendee, you must request authorization to travel from your jurisdiction. If there is a specific reason why your jurisdiction is not able to obtain this approval prior to August 13 please contact IRP
to alert the office and determine the next steps.
Step 2: Workshop Registration
Register for the workshop on the IRP website by August 13.
Step 3: Hotel and Flight Reservations
Once your registration is processed, you will receive an email confirmation that includes information on making hotel and flight reservations. The deadline for these reservations is August 20.
After the Meeting: Jurisdiction Reimbursement
General expenses incurred while traveling in connection with the workshop will be reimbursed. Completed reimbursement forms must be submitted by November 9. The expense form, reimbursement policy and instructions are available online
and will also be sent to funded attendees closer to the meeting date.
