Each year, IRP honors outstanding leaders and volunteers with the Mick Ramirez Volunteer of the Year and Richard L. Reeves IRP Leadership Awards. These awards recognize the exceptional work done by those in the IRP community.
Michael D. "Mick" Ramirez IRP Volunteer of the Year Award
Richard L. Reeves Leadership Award
Winners of two IRP awards were announced at the recent IRP Annual Meeting. Congratulations to:
- Renée Kyser of Alabama was awarded with the Richard L. Reeves Leadership Award. Renée’s years of service include serving on the Audit Committee, Dispute Resolution Committee, Education Committee, and the Peer Review Committee, where she served in leadership roles. Members of the community actively seek her opinion and advice regarding matters related to IRP.
- Heidi Crawford of Nebraska was presented the Michael D. "Mick” Ramirez IRP Volunteer of the Year Award. Heidi has taken on leadership roles with the Dispute Resolution Committee, serving as chair, and now is also a member of the Audit Committee. Her dedication is greatly appreciated by her fellow committee members and the IRP community.
Mick Ramirez Volunteer of the Year Award
The Mick Ramirez Volunteer of the Year is presented to an
individual who has shown initiative, creativity and dedication to the IRP
community demonstrated by his/her work as a volunteer during the past year.
This can include exceptional contributions as a committee member, contributions
on a special project, or serving as an effective presenter to the IRP community.
Richard L. Reeves IRP Leadership Award
The Richard L. Reeves IRP Leadership Award is presented to an
individual who has distinguished herself or himself by outstanding
contributions and involvement within the IRP Community. The award recognizes
effective leadership and outstanding accomplishments and contributions within
the nominee’s jurisdiction or within the IRP community.
