The IT and Data Services Committee has drafted a Technology Plan for the Clearinghouse which will be presented to the Board of Directors at the September board meeting. The Plan includes ten priority projects which will fix issues and enhance the system over the next couple of years. Additionally, the plan recommends that the Clearinghouse infrastructure/platform be transitioned to a vendor and provided to IRP as a service. This eliminates the burden of managing and maintaining hardware and system software components so that IRP can focus attention on the functionality and use of the Clearinghouse. Over the next several years, a major emphasis will be placed on reporting for the jurisdictions and use of the Clearinghouse for the peer review and audit programs.
