<description><![CDATA[<p>The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) would like to provide the International Registration Plan Community (IRP) information regarding registration fee updates for specific vehicle weight classes. </p><p>As a result of the Department of Motor Vehicle Fee Update Amendment Act of 2025 enacted by the DC City Council, DC DMV has revised its registration fees for certain classes of vehicles, including commercial vehicles. <title>Wyoming Updated Electric Vehicle Fee and New Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Fee</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><b>Effective July 1, 2026</b>, Wyoming is reducing the $200.00 annual electric vehicle fee to <span>&nbsp;</span>$100.00 on all-electric vehicles. This all-electric vehicle fee will be added in conjunction with the current Wyoming registration fees. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><b>Effective July 1, 2026, </b>Wyoming is imposing a $50.00 annual plug-in hybrid electric vehicle fee. This plug-in hybrid electric vehicle fee will be added in conjunction with the current Wyoming registration fees.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial;">“All-electric vehicle" means a motor vehicle that uses only electric energy to propel the vehicle, can be recharged from an external source of electricity and can use stored electricity to drive or contribute to driving the wheels of the motor vehicle. "All-electric vehicle" shall not include a hybrid electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, a motorcycle or a multipurpose vehicle.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial;">"Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle" means any motor vehicle that uses two (2) or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle and one (1) of which can be recharged from any external source of electricity, including a wall socket, and the electricity stored in the rechargeable battery drives or contributes to drive the wheels of the vehicle. "Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle" does not include a hybrid electric vehicle, an all-electric vehicle, a motorcycle or a multipurpose vehicle.<br /> <br /> "Hybrid electric vehicle" means a vehicle that uses two (2) or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle neither of which can be recharged from any external source of electricity including a wall socket. "Hybrid electric vehicle" includes a vehicle which includes an internal combustion engine and one (1) or more electric motors but vehicles that use other mechanisms to capture and use energy may also be included. The fee change applies to all original, renewal, and supplement (vehicle adds) applications with a supplement effective date of January 1, 2026, and later. </p><p>In addition, “electric” powered vehicles will now have a different fee schedule. <description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">This letter notifies IRP jurisdictions of a recent legislative change to certain registration fees. The State of Rhode Island added a fee for the certain vehicles based on fuel type. The gross weight fees themselves, based on the weight registered in Rhode Island, are not changed. Please refer to the fee schedule.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Rhode Island General Law (RIGL) Title 31, Section 31-6-1(27)&nbsp;establishes a fuel source fee, for the registration of certain automobiles, motor trucks, and tractor, and this new fee is additive to the gross weight fees: </span></p> <p><b><span style="font-size: 11pt;">(A)&nbsp;A fee of two hundred dollars ($200) for each battery electric vehicle;</span></b></p> <p><b><span style="font-size: 11pt;">(B)&nbsp;A fee of one hundred dollars ($100) for each plug-in hybrid electric vehicle; and</span></b></p> <p><b><span style="font-size: 11pt;">(C)&nbsp;A fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each hybrid electric vehicle.</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Please click <a href="https://www.irponline.org/page/jurfeeschedules">HERE</a> to view the new fees, along with Rhode Island’s definitions of fuel sources. <description><![CDATA[<p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 20px;"><span style="font-family: 'Open Sans';">As a result of Wisconsin Act 15, Wisconsin is adjusting its fee schedule.<br /></span></span></p><p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 20px;"><span style="font-family: 'Open Sans';">Wisconsin’s updated fees to take effect October 1, 2025. The changes are as follows:<br /></span></span></p><p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 20px;"><span style="font-family: 'Open Sans';">1. Fees for trucks, buses, and road tractors at 8,000 pounds to 80,000 will increase 10%.<br /></span></span></p><p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 20px;"><span style="font-family: 'Open Sans';">2.
